To be very honest, on the day of this session I was actually clueless what to do, and a part of me also did not want to do it. I wonder WHY? My resistance to Fulfillment of Life was blocking me and keeping me in this struggle.
I was joined by Lisa James and Charu Mathur with a commitment to ourselves of a 12-week Fulfillment of Life Series.
I channeled an intuitive meditation at the time, and we each met and worked with our own Light workers. A Light worker is any guide, spirit or angel that guides you in your journey.
Session 1: After a Week Experience Recap
After the session, we decided to be more aware of our thoughts and actions, and connect with our Light worker and the information we received during the meditation.
But honestly, the week was such a whirlwind of activity that I did not even remember to be connected. However, it seems I must have been subconsciously connected because upon reflection, we fulfilled more than we intended.
The day we did Session 1, Charu came up with a brilliant manifesting diary. I used the diary to locate my thoughts and intentions and this was a driving factor towards feeling peaceful, content, driven and FULFILLED
So my whirlwind of changes for Week 1:
- The initiation into writing a BLOG.
- I created a Manifesting Diary, and in fact what I have written is showing up in my physical reality.
- I started a friendly competition with Charu to walk a minimum of 6000 steps which gave us a drive to work on our body.
- I started walking in the park for 20 mins. My daughter and her friends accompanied me to the park so even my little one had her fulfillment and peace of joy.
- I started a yoga position – 30 mins each day to help the body with flexibility and digestion.
- I started a commitment to read one hour a day again with Charu and my daughter, enhancing my learning and knowledge.
- I painted not once but twice during the week
- I also had the opportunity to contribute to my older daughter’s life by sharing my creative ideas and thoughts. I felt proud to be able to have the opportunity to contribute to her life. As she puts it in her terms – “You Felt Useful”. I also spent more time with her than I usually do.
Wow! In what crazy ways did I get Fulfilled. It took me a full week to realize that I was at peace with myself, with others and with the way my life was unfolding. No judgement, no expectation, no attachment, nothing. Just to be in total peace with what was happening – in a space that was fulfilling me from the inside out, rather than the outside in.
Hold on – you must be thinking, this is rubbish, you can’t have had zero negative emotions. Of course, I did! I had my moments of anger and annoyance and even my chocolate craving. But there was difference in the way I addressed it and the way people in my surrounding reacted to it and that’s what we need to achieve. No one is suggesting that we may never feel angry or irritated or upset, but rather to approach the emotion with gentle ease and grace and overcome it rather than allow it to attack our daily routine.
